Example Of A Spreadsheet With Excel – A spreadsheet presents the data and formulas in the form of a table (rows and columns) called a spreadsheet.

A spreadsheet consists of lines (numbered with numbers) and columns (numbered with letters). The crossing of a line and a column is called a cell. A cell is thus located by a number and a letter.

A worksheet can contain up to 65,536 rows and 256 columns, or more than 17 million cells.

Each cell on the worksheet may contain values. These values are either entered directly (numbers, text, date,…) or else calculated automatically; by the spreadsheet one speaks then of formulae, that is to say expressions allowing to calculate a value, possibly according to the values of one or more other cells of the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet thus has a large number of integrated functions to perform mathematical, statistical, and other calculations …
