When I was a kid, I used to run a lemonade stand in my front yard every summer. I would stir up some yellow powder into a pitcher of lukewarm water and wait patiently for my patrons. And I did pretty good out there! I’d make a dollar or two and dream of saving it up for some new roller skates or a funky-flavored lip gloss. Instead, I’d almost always immediately spend it on something useless and instantly gratifying.
